I finished up my Fall semester with an invitation to do a research apprenticeship in one of my profs labs in the winter semester. I accepted it and I was working in his lab alongside his PhD and Masters students assisting in their studies. I learnt a lot in the lab and I am so so so grateful for the opportunity to expand my knowledge in Kinesiology research. I've also been working my butt off studying and sending out applications for med schools. But I've also been taking in this last semester and really living in the moment.
Everything is a last now. Last lecture, last assignment, last lab, last final... last, last last. I feel like the word last has a very negative connotation attached to it. I wrote my last final thinking nothing of it and just walked out, not saying goodbye to any of my friends in the room.
Some of you may think that that's a little insensitive, but I don't think it's goodbye. If we are close enough friends I will still be seeing you even though we aren't conveniently down the street from one another. Sure we're all moving back home and trying to figure out post grad life but friendship is stronger than that.
BESIDES ME BEING ALL EMOTIONAL ABOUT FINISHING UNDERGRAD....
I have gotten accepted to medical school which excites me greatly. So this blog will be able to live up to its full expectation of my stories and life throughout my medical school life.
Thank you to those who have kept up and been reading, if anyone has anything they'd like me to discuss on here please leave a comment and let me know!
